Turns out your old pals at VEGdaily have been nominated for a TreeHugger.com Best of Green award. Thank you, thank you (taking bows).
The Best of Green awards are annual awards given to the people, companies and ideas doing “the best in walking the sustainability walk within their respective fields.”  Wow! We’re totally honored!
But now we need your help! Starting today and running until Friday, April 2, 2010, you can logon to TreeHugger.com and cash in your vote. Readers can vote once a day until the voting period ends. Winners will be announced the week of April 12, 2010.

Congrats! And I really do like your site, but have a question that I hope doesn’t offend. You call the site VEGdaily, but as far as I can tell, the updates are more like once a week, if that. Am I missing something? Or is VEGdaily more of an aspirational name for the site? I really do enjoy your posts, but I check the site almost daily and am regularly bummed when I don’t see new content.
Which brings me to … can your readers, including me, do anything to help the site live up to its name? Let us know, I’m sure I’m not the only one who wants to support you guys but has wondered about the VEGdaily moniker.

Thanks for your comment! VEGdaily is about to go through a HUGE, HUGE, HUGE change and will become way more of a daily kind of site. Look for the special unveiling on March 20, 2010 (Meatout day!).
