christmasanimalsThe holiday season is here, and with it plenty of great ways to celebrate with fellow vegans and animal lovers. If you are lucky enough to live near one of these cities, check out one of these fun parties:

* Philadelphia: VEGdaily readers near this city are in for a treat! VEGdaily Co-Founder and Editor-in-Chief Michael Parrish DuDell is one of the keynote speakers at the Humane League of Philadelphia’s Celebration of Animals on Saturday, December 12 for just $20. More details and ticket sales can be found at www.TheHumaneLeague.com.

* Washington, D.C.: Compassion Over Killing’s Holiday Party in D.C. is only a few days away, on Saturday, December 5, but with a special guest like Bizarro’s Dan Piraro — you should rearrange your schedule to attend this event! Tickets are donation-based with a suggested minimum donation of $50. All of the details are available at www.COK.net.

* Chicago, Columbus, New York City: Mercy for Animals went all out this year with a Celebrating Compassion party in each city where they have an office — Chicago, IL, on December 4, $75, including a performance by Nellie McKay; Columbus, OH, on December 5, $35, and New York, NY, on January 23, for $75 with an seemingly endless list of celebrities including McKay and Piraro. Find all of the details for all three cities at www.CelebratingCompassion.com.

And wherever you are, you can celebrate with Farm Sanctuary through their online celebrity-packed auction, Peace for the Animals.
