Get To Know A Candidate Countdown: Daniel Dromm

Yesterday we started our week-long Get To Know A Candidate Countdown with the help of our friends at the New York League of Humane Voters. We hope this feature will help all of our New York City readers make the best choice when they vote on Tuesday, September 15th.

Today we are proud to welcome Daniel Dromm to the site.

Daniel is running for City Council and represents Jackson Heights, Rego Park, LeFrak City, East Elmhurst, Elmhurst, Woodside and Corona. Throughout his career, Daniel has served as a community organizer, public school teacher, union leader and district leader.  Not only is he in favor of reforming health care, improving education and standing up for civil rights, but Daniel is also a friend to the animals –  and we think that’s just swell.
