If you’re not eating animal-products, why in the world would you want to wear them?
That was the question Cynthia King — a dancer and choreographer for over 30 years — asked herself when opening the Cynthia King Dance Studio in Brooklyn, New York.
King lives a cruelty-free life, but found herself stuck when it came to vegan ballet slippers.
“I was able to find ethical alternatives in the food I ate and the clothes I wore,” King says,“Naturally, I began to search for those options in my life as a dancer as well as for my students.”
Long story short: after several months of research the Cynthia King Vegan Ballet Slipper was on the market and we love it!
The slippers sell for $24.95 a pair and are 100 percent totally vegan (no suede bottoms)! To find out more, visit CynthiaKingDance.com!

I am just in love with VEGdaily today! Seriously, vegan ballet shoes!? Amazing. I’ve been thinking about taking some classes again and was just going to break out my super old slippers to avoid the moral dilemma. Problem solved!
