Get out your favorite brussels sprout costume — it’s time to show your Veggie Pride!!
On Sunday, May 17th, the streets of New York City will be filled plant-eaters wearing costumes and carrying signs as they march at the second annual Veggie Pride Parade.
VEGdaily’s own Sally Andersen will be out on the streets getting her VEG on and covering the event.
The parade will start at 11 a.m in the Olde Meat District (yes, irony), where 9th Ave., Gansevoort St., Greenwich St., and Little West 12th St. intersect and end at Union Square Park, NORTH end, across street from Barnes & Noble.
Be there!
