Montel’s Daughter Teams Up With PCRM For A School-Wide VEG Revolution!!
Posted in Activism on 01. Apr, 2009
With Montel Williams as a dad, Wyntergrace Williams is a naturally confident and outspoken 14 year old. Luckily for teens looking for VEG options at their school cafeteria, Wyntergrace is also a proud vegetarian.
Although she loves her middle school in Greenwich, Connecticut, Wyntergrace was disappointed with the lack of VEG food and started a petition. The school was easily convinced to provide more plant-based meals, but mini Williams didn’t stop there. She has teamed up with the Physicians Committee for Responsible Medicine to bring attention to this need across the country with the Healthy School Revolution, where students and parents can sign a petition and learn other ways to encourage change in their cafeterias.
Papa Montel must be so proud! Now if only Wyntergrace could convince her dad, as she did her mom, to take up a compassionate diet …
Stay tuned to VEGdaily next week for an exclusive interview with the Healthy School Revolution team!
