Gordon Ramsay’s Head to Explode: Vegetarian Contestant on UK’s Hell’s Kitchen

Vegetarian-hating chef Gordon Ramsay may have left the UK version of Hell’s Kitchen in his past but that doesn’t mean the show, which returns to British TVs this week after a two-year hiatus, will be free of VEG controversy. Contestant Niomi McLean Daley, a.k.a. hip-hop star Ms Dynamite, recently became vegetarian.

Explaining that it was a purely vain decision because she liked what it did for her health and body, Daley told the UK’s Daily Mail that she will probably be fine cooking meat even though she doesn’t eat it.

“I don’t want to get on my high horse about it but I do feel a lot healthier in my diet,” said Daley. “I don’t think I would struggle to cook meat during the show but gutting and skinning an animal would be a different story.”

Even though Ramsay no longer hosts the UK version there is still sure to be plenty of heated conversations about eating meat versus being a vegetarian. Here’s hoping that Dynamite stays strong in her meat-free ways!
